Middle school is an exciting time of growing in faith, building friendships, and discovering how God is calling you to live as a disciple. The Diocese of Biloxi Youth Ministry offers opportunities for 6th–8th grade students to encounter Christ in meaningful and fun ways.
Each year, middle school teens are invited to join us for a few major events: our springMiddle School Rally, held alongside the Diocesan Youth Conference (DBYC), and our Middle School Retreat in the Fall, a day retreat designed to help students step away from the busyness of life and grow deeper in their relationship with God and one another. We also invite them to join their youth groups at our annual youth ministry Kick-Off to celebrate the new year and foster fellowship across the Diocese.
Dates for 2026-27 **Middle school Students need to register with their parish youth minister for all Diocesan events.

Fall Retreat
The Middle School Retreat, originally called The Challenge, is a one-day, diocesan-wide retreat for 6th–8th graders. Each year, our Spirit Movers prayerfully choose the theme and build the entire retreat, offering students a day of faith, fun, and community where they are encouraged to challenge themselves and grow closer to Christ.
